Real estate information junkies

We have become real estate information junkies. We don't have the means to move up to a larger house right now, but we try to keep up with what is going on in the market. Here is the recent data for a year-over-year comparison in Santa Clara County, California. This is helpful to gauge how the market is responding to higher interest rates and more homes coming on the market, although this is very early in the trend. So far pricing is realistic (100% sales price to list price ratio). But it will be interesting to see how prices change in the upcoming holiday season with one-third more houses for sale.
