I’ve got the Turbo Tax blues

Oh yeahhhhh… It has been two weeks since I filed my taxes using Turbo Tax. The state refund was deposited in my account in a week. The federal return has yet to be accepted. Last night I started poking around online forums on the Turbo Tax boards and found a discussion on this very topic. I relay the following, from one of the moderators, in case anyone else runs into the same problem:

Hello, folks,
If you're in the situation where your federal return's e-filing status says “filed ... check back in 24 to 48 hours” for an inordinate amount of time, our releases coming starting on Friday will allow you to retransmit the federal return. You'll need to wait for the release of your particular version of TurboTax to be able to do this, but here's our planned release schedule:

TurboTax Online:
Friday, March 3rd, 8:00 a.m. PST

Desktop Windows:
Saturday, March 4th, 8:00 a.m. PST for One-click update
Tuesday morning, March 7th for manual updates

DesktopMacintosh:
Tuesday, March 7th, 8:00 a.m. PST for one-click updates,
Wednesday morning, March 8th for manual updates

The releases may be available a bit earlier than the times specified above.
And... you won't be charged a second time for electronically filing your return.
