Interesting results in the market today for NMT Medical (NMTI). I had my eye on them for a while, then they got mentioned by Jim Cramer and the stock price became overinflated (in my view). They released preliminary results today that fell short of their goals, but was still more than double the effectiveness of the placebo. The stock price fell by about a third on the news. Safety results were not discussed very much. Since reaction of the market tends to swing too dramatically up or down on news, this will be interesting to see how the stock price moves over the next few months as more details are released.
