We're (not) from the IRS and we're here to help you

I rarely open email if I don't recognize the sender or it is an obvious phish. But I had to open the email from "Internal Revenue Service" titled "IRS Notification - Please Read This". Nevermind that I had never used that email account for any contact with the IRS or even my tax preparation software. I had to see what the scam was. So here's the letter:


Amateurish, but extra points for impersonating the IRS.
