The $10 billion man

The Times Online estimates that James Bond is a $10 billion franchise. I would love to see that stacked up against other series: Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc. I never would have put that high of price tag on the series, but it's hard to argue with Harding's numbers.

The article also puts Sony's hopes on their investment in MGM in perspective--the company definitely needs a plus in their column to stem the tide against many disappointments.
