Chugga chugga choo choo

I've been under the weather for yet another holiday. Anyway, the oldest boy's birthday is this week but we decided to treat him to a surprise this past Saturday--the Santa Cruz Holiday Lights Train. I can't think of anything he loves more than his trains (well, outside of his mother). For over an hour, he was completely awestruck that he was riding on a period train. And it's pretty much been the talk of the weekend.

There were lots of families onboard and it looked like everyone had fun. Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area and you have a little train-lover in your family.
